In his career spanning over 10 years in IT Geert has worked as a consultant and technical architect on several large business apps and projects with clients like Nokia, KPN & Heineken.
Next, to his expertise in Mobile application development, Geert also has a lot of experience in ALM regarding Mobile application development, standardizing and streamlining the development of apps for enterprises.
Geert is also an active user, speaker, and blogger in the Microsoft community. He has spoken at events like Microsoft Techdays and local meetups such as .NET Mobile Developers group. Geert writes and speaks about everything related to mobile technology and his interests both professional and personal.
In his spare time, Geert likes to build apps for the Windows platform such as Game Streams, the most downloaded and best rated Twitch client for the Windows platform. When Geert is not sitting behind his laptop Geert likes to travel the world with his wife Patty and daughter Lauren, cook food from the places he has visited and taste different beers to increase his Untappd score.
