As a data scientist at Xebia Data Roel is only satisfied when he fully understands something. Applying his knowledge in practice in different domains is what puts a smile on his face.
He believes that working with people from different backgrounds and with different skills is a necessity for his development, both on a personal and professional level. While he enjoys teaching, he is eager to learn. Also from you!
Coming from Utrecht University, where he received his PhD in the field of data mining, he knows how important it is to share knowledge. But the contagious enthusiasm of trainees willing to learn is the main reason Roel likes to be a trainer.
