Meet Kris Geusebroek, trainer at Xebia Academy. Kris is a Big Data trainer and trains on behalf of Xebia the Spark Programming and Cloudera Developer for Spark and Hadoop courses.

Kris is a developer with a passion for combining technologies to create new possibilities for people around him. Coming from a Java and Geographical Information Systems background and being a fan of open source software, he is currently working on visualizing Big Data with the help of Hadoop and Neo4j.

He started working with distributed systems and graph databases over the last couple of years. And with a broad interest in programming practices and languages, he likes to work and communicate closely with the customer to achieve the best results. As a Big Data Hacker, his goal is to combine the best technologies to make working software for the customer and teach the people around him to work independently with their new technologies while learning a bit or two himself.
