Michiel Sens is principal DevOps consultant with over 20 years of experience in IT and specializes in DevOps, Continuous Delivery and topics related to (Datacenter) Automation.
Michiel works for mid- and large size organizations in the Netherlands and helps organizations to optimize IT culture, organization, architecture and delivery processes aiming to improve the organization’s ability to repeatedly deliver innovative applications at high speed and at a continuous pace.
As he is technical in background, Michiel prefers combining technical hands-on automation activities with coaching- and consulting activities in such a manner that he can lead by example. Michiel has in depth knowledge and experience in both IT Development and Operations. He has worked as Lead Architect on large scale projects. Before joining Xebia about six years ago, Michiel worked as Managing Consultant and People Manager at IBM.
Furthermore, Michiel is master-trainer and main content provider for the DevOps Agile Skills Association (DASA) training curriculum and co-author of the book ’Continuous Delivery for Managers’. Michiel joined Xebia in 2011 as a Principal Consultant.
