Evelien Acun-Roos
Evelien Acun-Roos is a Professional Knowledge Sharer with Xebia Academy. Her Agile journey started at Essent in 2010, and since then, she has helped many teams at different organizations to become more agile (ING, Rabobank, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, APG, Philips, VodafoneZiggo, Unilever).
Evelien is certified to teach Scrum.org classes as a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) and a certified trainer for Training From the Back of the Room.
She likes to focus on the people within the organization, from leaders to teams, and support them in becoming high-performing.
It doesn’t matter to Evelien whether she teaches beginning or experienced ‘scrummers’. She just loves to help people move forward, usually by applying many neuroscience-based learning activities. That’s why Evelien lets the learner learn instead of the teacher teach.
Evelien was born in Zoetermeer and currently lives in Helmond with her husband and three kids. She is also on Instagram and TikTok as the Scrum Boosters.
