What will you learn?
During the AI-Native Value Architect training, you will gain the skills to lead AI initiatives from the first signals of opportunity through to delivery decisions. The curriculum is structured in three parts, plus approximately two hours of on-demand pre-work completed before the course begins.
Part 1 — Build the core skillset:
Understand the AI Value Architect role and its five responsibility areas. Learn to coach AI adoption across teams.
Apply the Value Maximizer Playbook to unlock immediate value from the AI tools your organisation already owns.
Build a working four-agent AI solution, the AI Risk Council, with no coding required.
Part 2 — Run the AI-Native Solution Lifecycle:
Work through the Sense and Discover phases to identify, validate, and frame AI opportunities.
Design the Value Blueprint across six areas.
Guide delivery through the Deliver and Track phases, including an implementation tracker and 90-day roadmap.
Part 3 — Scale your impact:
Apply the frameworks and skills to a real initiative in your own organisation and build the capability to expand your impact over time.

In two hands-on days, you develop the skills to guide AI initiatives from first signal to a production decision.
Day one focuses on building: you construct a working multi-agent AI solution and learn to apply the Value Maximizer Playbook to unlock value from AI tools your organisation already owns.
Day two focuses on leading: you run a realistic AI initiative through the full AI-Native Solution Lifecycle, practising the stakeholder alignment, discovery, design, and delivery decisions the AI Value Architect role requires.
On day one, you develop the core skills of the AI Value Architect role and build a working multi-agent AI solution.
Using a visual tool that requires no coding or technical background, you construct an AI Risk Council: a four-agent system where three specialist agents each argue their position and a supervisor reconciles them into a verdict.
The exercise is designed to give you a practical understanding of how AI agents collaborate, where they disagree, and what that means for human oversight and accountability.
The day also covers the five responsibility areas of the AI Value Architect role, coaching AI adoption across teams, and the Value Maximizer Playbook, a framework for identifying and unlocking latent value in the AI tools your organisation already owns.
Who is it for?
The AI Value Architect is not a new job title — it is a defined role on the Agile Release Train that Scaled Agile has formally recognised. In most organisations, the people best positioned to take on this role are already there, adding this capability to the position they hold today.
The AI-Native Value Architect training is designed for
- Scrum Masters and Team Coaches who want to develop their practice in an AI-Native direction and take on a broader leadership role in AI initiatives.
- Release Train Engineers and SAFe Practice Consultants responsible for coordinating AI work across the ART.
- Product Managers and Product Owners accountable for AI outcomes and the business value they deliver.
- Transformation leads, program managers, and consultants guiding AI implementations from concept to production.
You will not be training models or writing code. The focus is on the leadership, facilitation, and decision-making skills that turn AI activity into business outcomes.
Requirements:
AI-Native Foundations is not a requirement for this course, but it is strongly recommended. As a Value Architect, you will lead colleagues through a way of working those colleagues will benefit from having experienced themselves. Completing Foundations first gives you and your teams the strongest starting point. No prior AI leadership experience or technical background is required.

The exam must be conducted online within 30 days of the last training day. Please note that attendance on all course days is mandatory to participate in the exam.
If you pass, you will receive your AI-Native Value Architect certificate from Scaled Agile, Inc.
