Cihan Yatbaz
Cihan is a Data Science Educator at Xebia, where he designs and delivers training programs across the full data science landscape, from Python and SQL fundamentals to machine learning and BigQuery. He combines hands-on industry experience with a natural ability to break down complex topics, helping developers and data teams turn technical knowledge into practical skills.
Originally from Turkiye, he moved to the Netherlands five years ago to build his career in data. After completing his degree in Management Information Systems and an Erasmus exchange in Austria, he worked as a Data Scientist at Nielsen Media Research, where he spent nearly four years building scalable analytics solutions for digital and media campaign measurement.
After that he joined Xebia, where he discovered that what he enjoys most is not just solving data problems, but helping others understand how to solve them. He now focuses on creating learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and grounded in real-world use cases, with a particular focus on SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms.
