Bastiaan Bakker
Bastiaan Bakker is a hands-on architect with 18+ years experience in designing, implementing and running reliable and scalable distributed systems and applications.
Bastiaan’s main focus now is to improve the way teams deliver working software, through Continuous Delivery, Agile Architecture, DevOps and Cloud Engineering. Bastiaan enjoys coaching teams with their DevOps journey as well as coding Cloud Infrastructure himself. He also likes to share his experience, being a trainer for Docker, Salt, Hashicorp Nomad, XL Deploy and DevOps (via DevOps Agile Skills Association).
Bastiaan firmly believes in “You build it, you run it”. Practicing what he preaches, he happily has run pager duty throughout most of his career.
