\n\tBas Vodde is coach, consultant, programmeur, trainer en auteur op het gebied van moderne agile en lean productontwikkeling. Als hij organisaties coacht, werkt hij op drie niveaus: organisatorische, team- en individuele\/technische praktijken. Hij heeft meer dan tien jaar lang duizenden mensen getraind in softwareontwikkeling, Scrum en moderne agile werkwijzen.

Bas is de auteur vanScaling Agile and Lean Development: Thinking and Organizational Tools for Large-Scale Scrum<\/a>en vanPractices for Large-Scale Agile and Lean Development<\/a>, beide samen met Craig Larman. <\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

\n\tHij werkt voorOdd-e<\/a>, een bedrijf dat organisaties ondersteunt bij het verbeteren van hun productontwikkeling, voornamelijk in Azi\u00eb.

Bas woont momenteel in Singapore waar hij terecht is gekomen nadat hij in Nederland (geboren), China en Finland heeft gewoond. Hij werkte in start-ups en in zeer traditionele omgevingen. Deze laatste ongemakkelijke ervaring overtuigde hem ervan dat agile en lean ontwikkeling een menselijkere manier is om softwareproducten te ontwikkelen – hoe groot je ontwikkeling ook is.

Hij kreeg de kans om agile ontwikkeling (met name scrum) te introduceren bij Nokia Networks (voorheen NSN), maar moest verhuizen naar Helsinki. Daar zag hij hoe tientallen productgroepen scrum en andere agile werkwijzen toepasten. De extreme kou in Finland dwong Bas naar het zuiden te trekken en terug te keren naar China, waar hij zich richtte op \u00e9\u00e9n grote productgroep en de scrum-implementatie daarvan.

Bas is ge\u00efnteresseerd in scrum met een speciale focus op grote productontwikkeling. Maar hij hield ook van technische praktijken, met name testgestuurde ontwikkeling (vooral in embedded omgevingen) en continue integratie. Hij blijft als ontwikkelaar werken omdat hij sterk gelooft in lean productie en kwaliteitsbeheer en natuurlijk in programmeren.

Bas is ook een van de auteurs van hetCppUTest unit test<\/a>framework voor C\/C++ en vanOsaka een Mac UI automation framework<\/a>geschreven in Ruby. <\/p>\t<\/div>\n\t
